  Forum Rules

     • Avoid posting spam or irrelevant links. Self-promotion, and advertising belongs in the Business group.

  3. Stay On Topic

     • Keep discussions relevant to the forum’s purpose. Off-topic posts may be moved or deleted.

  4. Use Appropriate Language

     • Avoid using offensive language or content. This includes obscenities, vulgarities, and any language that could be deemed inappropriate.

  5. Respect Privacy

     • Do not share personal information of other members without their consent. This includes addresses, phone numbers, and any other sensitive information.

  6. No Illegal Activities

     • Discussions or posts promoting illegal activities, including but not limited to piracy, hacking, or drug use, are strictly prohibited.

  7. Report Problems

     • If you see something that violates the rules, report it to the moderators. Do not engage in arguments or try to enforce the rules yourself.

  8. Use Proper Channels for Complaints and Suggestions

     • If you have a complaint or suggestion, use the appropriate forum section or contact the moderators directly.

  9. Moderation Decisions

     • Respect the decisions made by the moderators. If you disagree with a decision, contact a moderator privately to discuss the matter.

  Additional Guidelines for a Mexican Community Forum

  1. Celebrate Mexican Culture

     • Share and discuss topics related to Mexican culture, traditions, history, and events.

  2. Support the Community

     • Offer help and support to fellow members regarding local resources, events, and opportunities in Austin.

  3. Language

     • Posts can be in Spanish or English. Respect each other’s language preferences and provide translations if possible to foster better communication.
