Why do you call your boutique Q’dva?

Eva: I believe everybody needs to embrace their inner Diva. I think everybody takes the word Diva into the wrong connotation, I think being a Diva is being able to be your authentic self, be the shining person you want to be, fabulous, wonderful, being feminine. The world can be our runway. I want us to embody our inner divas, to allow ourselves to wear what we want. Because of the way we wear our mask out to the world and how we present ourselves, our confidence will start to integrate with how we feel inside.

Why do your customers love you so much?

Eva: I stand out. When you walk into this place you see racks, you see a fitting room. You don’t have a pretty fitting room anywhere else, I make sure that you still have the light like you would at any other retail store. Coming to my booth you are still able to have the personal relationship with someone. I’m still able to be here and say “You know what, that doesn’t look good on you.” As much as I want to make the sale, I wont unless it looks good on you. There’s so many things I am grateful for when it comes to my customer.

Wow, you really take care of your people.

Eva: And they take care of me to. I want to be able to give that back, because I’ve been there, so many girls go through there, and usually we don’t have a good community of genuine people where they help build us back up. Eventually I want my boutique to address those that don’t have any clothes, or they’ve left an abusive relationship, or whatever it is that they are going through. That ultimately is the goal for me, to help women come back to their confidence.

Eva: Thank you! I was actually in Las Vegas yesterday helping another boutique. And the runway shows started when I met a model named Brie, she helped me learn where to go and who to meet for my first runway show.
